Going out in style: Accessories list

Already some items have disappeared!! That was quick!

Going out in Style: Retired List is Here!

I am really excited about the retired list and really sad at the same time. With all the retired items it means that we will have lots of space for more new exciting items in the new catalogue. However some of my favourites are going out in style. These products will not be available again.

If you own some of the in-colour range of stamp pads then now is the time to order your re-inkers before stock runs out. I am really sad that the organdy ribbon is leaving us, it was one of my favourite embellishments. The gros-grain ribbon and embossing powders will still appear in the next catalogue, just in a different form, so don’t panic about those.

The items in red are no longer available and the items in yellow have limited stock left, so you need to get your orders to me quickly for those things that you just cannot do without. I will be updating the list regularly so check back here before you order, or you can call me to find out.

Bleaching Fun

I thought I’d play with my new Aqua-painters and try out the bleach effect on the card stock. I painted the bleach onto some offcuts of stamp rubber, you know the bits you cut off from around the stamp before mounting it. I didn’t want to try it out only to find it wrecked my good stamps. Wow, it worked really well! I bleached then left a gap then Versamarked it to make a striped pattern.

I also used the SU stamp set Carte Postale from the Summer mini. To make the fleur de lis pop, I created shadow with a dark blue watercolour pencil. The birthday boy was pleased.

Now I must fess up and admit that I did all the stamping, but my daughter assembled the card. She is a clever poppet!!

Materials: SU Card Stock; Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Whisper White. SU White Gros Grain ribbon.

Technostampers Challenge

This is my effort at the techno stampers challenge TSC-01 couple of weeks ago. I’m finally able to put it up now that I’ve worked out how to put copyright info on my photos, thanks to those lovely people at Splitcoaststampers. So all systems go.

I used perfect plum, pale plum and vanilla card stock and the beautiful Enchante papers from the Summer Mini Catalogue. I also used the Carte Postale stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalogue and the perfect plum ink pad to define the edges and make the design pop.
