Wild About Wax Paper Resist!

I just spent the last couple of days visiting my lovely Stampin Up upline, Mel. We had some great times and had a really good giggle together. It is great to be able to spend time with someone just stamping and chatting. The best time was when we had a cuppa outside late at night, we stuck on our fluffy dressing gowns, slippers and beanies to rug up against the cold. Would have made a great picture……

Back to earth tonight and rugged up warm inside, but I have gained my energy back for stamping. So here is a little card we made recently at one of my technique classes. Isn’t he just the cutest!

This card uses a technique called Wax Paper Resist. It is the one time that I enjoyed picking up the iron. And we didn’t have to iron out any wrinkles, the more wrinkles the better for this technique.

I have also used the marker to stamp technique to colour the lion stamp in Really Rust and More Mustard. The twine is sponged with really rust and threaded through the jumbo brads.

Wild About You 116438 $45.95
Jumbo Eyelets (60) 108431 $17.95
Hemp Twine 100982 $4.95
Cropadile 108362 $54.95
Markers (Mustard, Rust) 100076, 100073 $5.75

Kits for this card are available for this card. Contact me for details. alison

The August technique class is all about punches. We have this cute little dragon to make using lots of Stampin’ Up! punches. Contact me if you would like to join the class alison
