Don’t you just hate it when the things that you photograph just don’t look as good in the photo as they do in real life. Of course it doesn’t help when you try to take the photo at night. But I just love this card so much that I can’t wait to upload it.
This card was made in one of my technique classes the other day and we did the Acetate Tissue Technique. It was pretty messy, but that’s what made it so much fun! We definitely had inky and gluey fingers by the end.

As flood waters continue to inundate Australia in what has been described as the worst flooding in 37 years, we express our deepest sympathies to those who have lost loved ones and homes and to those whose lives have been changed forever. Just lately I’ve discovered the joy of burning candles. They have such a lovely glow when they burn. So I decided that I would try decorating my own.
I love the Friends 24-7 flourish stamp because it is just so elegant and I teamed it with elegant eggplant ink for a truly beautiful candle. There are three images altogether around the candle so it looks good from any direction. Then it was finished off with a little bling in the form of rhinestones. I am going to give this to one of my friends so shhh, don’t tell her.
I think this candle would look lovely on a wedding table or on a Christmas table or on just any table really.
